Complex and Complicated語意有何差別

世界上有些事物是 complex、天生來本質上就很複雜，而有些事物是 complicated、本質可能不複雜可是被人搞得很複雜。

對任何事情的時候，首先要搞清楚它是 complex 還是 complicated，處理 complex 的事物要有耐心，而 complicated 的事物則不必隨之起舞。特別是某些政客、投資客、男女朋友的詭辯。

比方說，在職場上面和同事或屬下討論一項任務，要做這樣東西需要用到許多零件或是新技能，這叫 complex，所以要考慮資源與成本、決定值不值得做。如果是跟你討論的人一直東扯西扯、列入一大堆莫須有的議題，還把很多人扯進來一起開會討論，這叫 complicated，這純粹是這個人不想負責做事、把事情搞複雜讓你打退堂鼓而已。

2. 這二個字翻成中文都叫「複雜」，而且都是形容詞那究竟這二個字在用法上有什麼不同呢? 簡單來說 complex 指複雜且難以解釋的，complicated 指不簡單，但卻可以解釋。

3. Complex 是指當一個系統由很多的部件組成，就形成了一個「複雜」的體系。這種複雜和理解上的困難不存在必然聯繫。 Complicated 則強調的是一種理解的難度。同樣，難理解的東西和這種東西的構造是否複雜，也不存在必然聯繫。
